Our Firm was founded by Huseyin Akkaya in 1987, in Istanbul. The Firm became Ekin Law Firm with three more partners in 1988. In those years, an active role has been taken in legal procedure of foundation of the first Turkish Government Employee Unions, beside its services in private and public law areas. In 1996, it became Akkaya Law Firm with sole partner and focused on especially private law area.
In early 2000s, with the increasing foreign capital investments in Turkey, Akkaya Law Firm started to work with some law firms in Europe and created a cooperation with them. This practice has lead Akkaya Law Firm to gain considerable amount of experience in the field of international debt collection, litigation, consultancy and any other related matters.
In 2011, Akkaya Law Firm became its final form and took today’s name as Akkaya & Akkaya Law Firm. Akkaya & Akkaya consists two main departments: Debt Collection Department offers legal assistance to the clients to collect their debt with amicable or legal ways. Consultancy & Litigation Department provides clients with legal consultancy services from the legal problems a client may face before the courts or any other relevant authorities. We, especially expertise on litigation beside all these services. Akkaya & Akkaya Law Firm is still providing legal services to its clients in national and international area with its colleagues.
